Lianne - Dare # 20

I can't believe we are up to Dare # 20 already. I was looking back through all the entries and I was amazed at all the awesome layouts you guys have done. I'm so glad we've inspired you to create such great stuff. We are thankful to everyone who has supported No 8 Wired in either entering or sponsoring, it's been fantastic and I've loved it. So keep it up, we have some cool dares coming up I know you're going to LOVE.

I've used all My Minds Eye Bohemia on my layout except the white pen. I love the way the papers, rub ons and transparent frames and diecuts all blend together so nicely. Alot of manufacturers these days make a cardstock weight patterned paper which are great to use as your background paper.
Looking forward to seeing your entries.
Send them in to me at RANDLGRAY@xtra.co.nz (100kb or less) by May 9th at 6pm or leave a link on Trina's post.

Dare 20 - Jo

This is such a cool dare, and as Lesley said, harder than you think.
I used all Autumn Leaves Products apart from some paint, coloured pencil and a white gel pen. Even the quote is from the Autumn Leaves Book "Quote unquote."
Am excited to see how you all go with this dare, there are so many awesome manufacturers out there for you to use, it will be neat to see who you choose. From what I have seen of the dare's girls pages so far, when you use all the same manufacturer you get beautiful results.
So come on, you know the drill, and there is an prize up for grabs from Junkitz - so give it a go...I dare you.

Dare 20 - Lesley

This is such a cool challenge. I had so much fun with this and must admit I found it hard not to add a bit of cardstock or a bit of something else from another supplier.

The manufacturer I chose is Imagination Project. I have used some gesso on the background PP and with the chipboard circles have chopped them in half for the scalloped edge.
Cant wait to see who you all choose and your layouts. We DARE you. You have until Wednesday 6pm, May 9th to either link your layout to Trina's original post post or email to Lianne on RANDLGRAY@xtra.co.nz (100kb or less).

Most importantly HAVE FUN.

Dare 20 - use one manufacturer only

Wow ladies, can you believe we're up to dare 20?! How quickly has this come around?! And what a fun time everyones had pushing the boundaries, challenging ourselves and creating incredible LO's.

Thank you to everyone for their support and participation. I know I've had a heap of fun and am looking forward to lots more exciting and interesting dares to come!

So what about this fortnights dare? Well its a goodie. You must create a LO using only one manufacturer's product. Yep. Just one! Uno, Ein, Tahi manufactuer.

We've decided that you can use ink, paint, thread, material, computer journalling and pens in addition to your manufacturers product. But no cardstock unless your chosen mftr makes it.

Its actually a lot harder than I thought, but hey, that's what we're here for right?! A good ole challenge!

And guess what......we've got a FANTASTIC sponsor this week. JUNKITZ! Thanks so much for your kind donation!

You have till Wednesday the 9th of May 6pm to send your LO's into Lianne at RANDLGRAY@xtra.co.nz (100kb or less) or leave us a comment that will link us back to your LO.

So without further ado, lets check out some LO's. Here's mine, and take a guess who I've chosen to use. Hehehe, yep, Junkitz. LOL!

Can't wait to see your creations!

Trina

Andrea's favourite freestyle lift

There were so many fab layouts, it was so hard to pick a favourite. But this layout by Ann McLachlan (lifting Nic) just jumped out at me. I love her use of the circle patterned paper and everything comes together so well - just awesome work Ann!

Moniques favorite freestyle lift

Gorgeous work by everybody and congratulations Sally, I hope you are able to get to one of the classes and meet your favourite freestyler in person!

Here is one that really touched me...Lara's lift of Emily. The black check looks fabulous on the green and I can so relate to the subject tool...great lift Lara!

Dare #19 - Marieke

My 6 year old has recently started taking more and more comfort items to bed with him. It used to be just his teddy that he's had since he was a baby but gradually items get added to the selection. At the moment there's a big dog that used to be mine as a kid, his ted, his doll that he's had since he was a baby, a stuffed dinosaur, a Mc Donald's toy that he's wrapped in rubber bands and that lights up and a cricket ball. My secret is that when I go to bed at night I remove a few items as I usually find him perched right on the edge with his toys taking over the bed. I've even found him on the floor, asleep! For a while he believed they actually moved to his desk by themselves.

Dare 19 - Lesley

Okay I haven't confessed to a big or even a little secret or quirk but I have wanted to scrap this photo for quite awhile. I wonder what the secret was???
So I dare you to reveal a quirk or secret or scrap this topic somehow. You have till Wednesday the 11th of April 6pm to send your LO's into Lianne at RANDLGRAY@xtra.co.nz (100kb or less) or leave us a comment that will link us back to your LO.
