Do you have little bits and pices of different kinds of product after you have finished a layout or two? Do you store them somewhere or do they pile up on your desk like mine do?
This weeks dare is to create a whole layout completely from scraps.
That means your background, your embellishments, your letters, everything on your layout must be from 'scraps'. My definition of scraps is anything which is part of a whole or part of a used pack. ie no full sheet of cardstock or pp. Embellishments must be part of a opened and used pack, left over rub ons, etc
I have been wanting to take my pile of miscellaneous bits and pieces and create a layout for awhile. I dare you to take your scraps and create a layout.
Please leave a link to your layout at a gallery or your blog in the comments of this post. The deadline is Wed 29th August 6pm.
We will be doing a draw for a fabulous prize from
CherryArte and our favourite for this dare will be our guest designer for the 14th September dare.
Have Fun!
Special thanks to this dare's guest designer - Lara.

LianneMy layout is completely from scraps. The background is scraps of c/s, then scraps of p/p from my scraps drawer down the centre, even the date stamp was one I'd stamped but messed up so threw in my scraps drawer to maybe use one day, I never throw anything away. The Hambly journalling rub on I'd cut out to use on a layout and hadn't, so that was lying around. All the letter stickers and chipboard letters were from used packs. I had so much fun doing this layout, thanks Lesley for a great dare!!
Look forward to seeing your scraps layouts.

Here is my LO. I totally had fun with this. I've got two big folders filled with my leftover PP, so I grabbed out some Basic Grey and My Minds eye, plus a few odds and sods of CS and this is what I came up with. The fuzzy rubons, chipboard brackets and letters are all from opened packets.
Loved this dare. So now its your turn. Dare ya!

I have a drawer full of stuff I haven't used for years, 2002 was the date on the vintage labels from Foofala, some old MM Defininitions, another just had to have and hardly used. The blue edging was created from some old letter stickers. I just snipped off bits and pieces from "F" and "J" to make straight lines. A bunch of old clear letter stickers for the Title and a ruler and a clock, both stickers again. Great idea and nice to revisit some of my scraps that I once knew and loved.

since I have being a bit slack + not scrapping in my room + just making a HUGE mess on the dinning room table.............I just used opened + scrappie bits from my mess!!!
strips of pps from other projects, open stickers + label packs, lying around button + chipboard star + the backing of all most finished KI sticker sheet. CS - the other half from a previous 6x12 LO.
Now if I scrapped like this everytime .................I would save $100's!!!
So I DARE you to use up your scraps too + have some FUN!!

This is such a fun dare to do and one we can all do because we all have scraps right? I've used scrap paper, half a transparency, letters and rubons from pre-opened packages and some digi-labels that i'd printed previously but never ended up using. Even my photo is quite scrappy - I really should have cropped it better!
So c'mon get scrapping with your scraps - can't wait to see all your wonderful creations!

I was still in my pjs at 9.30 this morning because I just couldn't resist giving this scrap dare a go. I have a huge clean up of the dining room to do because i scrapped a layout there yesterday using my new BG periphery and because the layout was kind of collagey i had torn bits out of papers so i had a lot of scraps to use. The background paper actually has yesterday's layout title cut out from it, but that is hidden behind the photo mat :O) I had been cutting letters out on my cuttlebug and couldn't decide what colour went best so i had a pile of them just laying around ready to go in the bin. See how the 'u' is white? That's cause I had the paper upside down when i cut that lot out lol! The journalling block was my trial stamp on a piece of computer paper so i just cut it out and stuck it on - this is such a freeing way to scrap, you just have to give it a go!
