Dare #29 - 1, 2, 3, 4

Hi everyone, this week's dare is all in the numbers.

The rules:
Use 1 patterned paper only (can be doublesided and can be cut as many times as you like)
Use 2 rubons
Use 3 fabric pieces or 3 ribbons
Use 4 embellishments but they must be the same type of embellishment (i.e. 4 buttons, 4 brads, 4 diecuts etc)

No restrictions on cardstock, photos, journalling elements or title.

Sounds easy right? I actually found this a lot harder than I thought it would be. So can't wait to see all your fab layouts!
Please leave a link to your layout at a gallery or your blog in the comments of this post. The deadline is Wed 12th September 6pm. Our favourite for this dare will be our guest designer for Dare #31.

Special thanks too to Janine who is our guest designer for this dare.

Andrea's layout

I used one sheet of BasicGrey Scarlet Letter patterned paper which I cut several times and also covered the chipboard numbers in my title with, 2 BasicGrey rubons, 3 Making Memories fabric tags and my 4 embellishments were Doodlebug paper trims.

Our guest designer: Janine's layout

Lesley's layout
1 pp (fancypants) and the purple circles is the same PP but the other side
2 rubons (fancy pants) corner and heart
3 pieces material (calico, hesian and net circles)
4 embellishments (4 buttons)
The stamped circles around the border are stamped from my Fiskars blade container!

Lianne's layout

I used a Crate p/p for the background, 2 rub ons at top of photo (American Crafts and Basic Grey), 3 piececs of material and 4 star brads. We were starting to clean out the garage last weekend and I found this photo.

Jo's Layout

One piece of patterned paper - basic grey infuse.
Two rub on flourishes.
Three bits of fancy pants crochet lace.
Four embellies - fabric flowers (The buttons came on the flowers so they are part of the embellishment.)

Faye's layout

One piece of patterned paper - a piece of old music paper
Two rub ons - a flourish and the words "Having Fun"
3 pieces of magic mesh
4 photo flips

Photos I've had sitting around since 1998. Does this mean I am catching up? :-)

Monique

I kept mine simple but it was alot of fun to have a 'recipe' to follow!

1 Pp=flower cut from basic grey.
2 Rubons=word ‘duck’ and the tiny red star above the journaling
3 material=pieces cut from 3 different patterned quilting squares next to title
4 embellishments =sequins
