Dare # 31 "Out My Window"

Hi Darers! Sorry it has taken me so long to get on to putting this up for you tonight but it has been one of those headless chook days - you know where you run around in circles but never achieve very much? That was my day. Anyhow on with the dare...

Do you have a favourite window in your house? Is there somewhere where you love to sit and just look out? My favourite is my kitchen window, it faces north so is really sunny, and of course I spend a lot of time there as mums do preparing meals and cleaning up etc. It is also my favourite vantage point because it faces the end of the street so I can see my loved ones coming home from there.

This is what I want you to scrap about this week, the view from your favourite window. As you can see in my layout I have scrapped about how as a mother it doesn't matter how old your kids get you still like to watch and make sure they get where they are going safely. I have to admit that this is not really my window but a digital frame I found but the view is totally out my kitchen window.
Gwen our guest designer has scrapped a beautiful layout about her favourite window but this layout has a twist...here I will let her tell you in her own words...

Here is my take on the 'View from my favourite window' dare. A bit of a twist. I can see the wall from my kitchen window, but it is only in a short window of time that I can see the rambling rose flowering. It flowers in November for six short weeks, but is glorious. I just had to go outside last year, camera in hand to photograph it.
So I would love to see your view from your favourite window, can't wait to see what you come up with. Please leave a link to your layout at a gallery or your blog in the comments of this post. The deadline is Wed 10th October 6pm. Our favourite for this dare will be our guest designer for Dare #33.

Lianne

This is my favourite window to look out, not only because of what's on the outside but what's on the inside too - part of my collection of coloured glass bottles, my window decal and hanging crystals that capture the sunlight and send a rainbow around the kitchen. But behind that fence and past those pine trees I know are the sand dunes, and the beach.

Monique

I love streaming sun through windows so I chose this photo I took of my mums cat sitting in her favourite spot soaking it all up.

Lesley's

This is such a cool dare. I love that I can be in the kitchen (and I seem to be there alot!) and look out the window and see the kids playing. It was extra cool seeing the kids this early Spring day enjoying the sunshine at 8am in the morning.

Andrea

This is a photo of my daughter looking out the french doors one sunny day back in March. I just had to capture her silhouette and wondered what she was thinking. This is a digi layout too - I've been having a lot of fun lately playing around with digi scrapbooking.

Our dare the fortnight is sponsored by the lovely Meg at

I probably missed the deadline because I haven't figured out the time zone differences yet but here is my page anyway.
